The Deep Fritz patch increases the engine strength significantly.
And for those of us with multiprocessor 32-bit systems, the unpatched Deep Fritz is among the very best engines.
Yet it is surprisingly little tested in some rating lists...

We have nearly 900 4CPU games (and 1300+ single CPU games) but yes Fritz is just one of many 2CPU engines that we have hardly tested. Deep Fritz 10.1 will be tested when time permits - as you say, results from other ratings groups show very good increasesAGove wrote:The Deep Fritz patch increases the engine strength significantly.
