I don't doubt it. I really want to test SMP Crafty, have done for a very long time, but have not been able to becuase of it's designed-in behaviour when running ponder off matches on the same machine, that has been mentioned in the other thread. I think its 21.7 I need to wait for in that case, and preferably an X64 version. However, I'd also like to run single CPU as well

Cant you run 2 CPU matches since you have a quad, crafty keeps one cpu for itself but doesnt really use it in ponder off matches. I dont have a dual or a quad, so the info I have is from reading the forum. You should just test the 64bit single CPU version then.

There is a version available from Jim Ablett, I dont know how to compile either. It is little bit of a game of cat and mouse, I would say, the links that Jim provided no longer seem to work (server down). I can send it to you if you want, just shoot me a pm with you email address.
