CEGT - rating lists November 25th 2007

Post by Werner »

Hi all :-),

our new rating lists are online and can be found under the attached links.

40 / 120:
Our 40/120 list was not updated this week. With DeepShredder 11 x64 2CPU we made 148 games till now. A good progress we have made for our new 4CPU-list. All Loop and DeepFritz10.1 games are finished. Next engine is DeepJunior 10.1. We skipped Hiarcs for the moment as we hope to have a new engine this year??
Interim results we publish in our forum:
http://husvankempen.de/nunn/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=9
Hopefully we can make a separate list with 8-10 different engines at the end of the year.

40 / 20:
This week we made a lot of games with new Fritz 11 and Movei 0.08.438 using the same setting as for WBEC tests: progress 10 10 10. See more in our list "Games of the week".

In total our 40/20 list is based on 199.821 games. Without stopping our Glaurung 2.0.1 w32 1CPU tests we would have reached the 200.000 mark :)

New engines:
New in our list is Fritz 11 with 1643 games and a stable rating of 2919. So we can confirm the results of our Blitz-List: around +100 elos and of course the stronges single behind the Rybkas. The difference to Rybka 2.32a w32 1CPU ist now only 50 points. Congratulations to Franz Morsch. We all are waiting now for the Deep Fritz 11 version.
The other new engine in our list is Movei0.08.438 P10. After 300 games we can confirm the results made in other lists: This setting is stronger than default.

updated engines:
Deep Shredder 11 x64 4CPU did fall 2 points to 2982
Deep Fritz 10.1 4CPU did the same and has now 2941 elos
Naum 2.2 x64 4CPU has now 2936 elos.

40 / 4:
There is no update this week. We will publish results in the different forums. Fritz 11 and TheKing3.50 could both hold the start ratings till now.

A big „Thank you“ to all testers as usual! :)

Hi Werner, thanks four u great work 8-) in the weekend I played trough some games of Fritz 11 vs Rybka 2.3.2a 32w and it seems that Fritz play less agressive and give a hard fight to Rybka, I think DF11 will be the clear No. 2.
Regards :D

Hi Tony,
better ask Christopher Conkie !

...and in our list Zappa w32 1CPU is exactly 100 elos weaker than Fritz 11!
...and it would be better you have some very good reasons before you write such things - have you?
