Larsen.s opening-- book

Post by Nimzovik »

I am old....been playing Larsen's opening for long time (since 1972). I have made completely NEW ideas (in the sense of complete system variance) in the system of larsen's. 30+years of opnening analysis back upped by computer (best programs rybka etc.) analysis confirmation. It is written for the HUSLER's perspective. Lines are "sound" . Granted it is NOT a 'Whte to play and win'system. (Trully --What is?) It is hypermodern Book. (Very Positional) In every sense of the word. Anti computer chess? Hmmmm. Most lines are NOT in current theory. Any one interested? Preferably would like to publish book. All I ask is a little credit--NO MONEY. Any programmers for thier program or cr chess authors interested? I have hit 2358 in blitz chess on play chess server -in honest manner-took on all comers. Would have hit much Higher but I am married and I drinks a bit. Hustled chess at Santa Monica Pier in California for years. U like a sample? Leave message on server. Only SERIOUS people with credentials need apply.

Hi Alex. I played there also. Did you play at westlake park in L.A.

Good Luck with your opening bk.

Hi,

Try the Rybka forum:

http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforum/forum_show.pl

There is a Rybka fan called Alan and he has the largest 1.b3 database in the world. I think he would be very interested in your work.

Kind regards,

I would try to contact John Nunn at Batsford publications and see if he would be interested. Opening books are not really hot selling items anymore though, I think the focus is shifting to Training DVDs and such. Sadly, I don't think we will see a sequel to Nunn's NCO soon . I would certainly buy a sequel! Your book sounds interesting too!

See also this older page at Chessbase http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=1418
for a link to GAMBIT publications.

We used to have a fruitjuice brand here in Holland called 'B3 Nectar'. So 1.b3 for some became the 'frisdrank opening', 'Fruitjuice opening' :) . Maybe a title for your book; "1.b3 Vitamins for your Chess!" or simply "The Fruit-juice Opening!"

Thank you to all for your unexpected attention in this matter. First -1) No I have not played at westlake park (was unaware of it in terms of chess) Have played at Newbury park tho. Lived in the Camarillo area for years. 2) Yes a chess book is indeed perhaps passe and a CD/DVD is perhaps a better option. 3) Thank you all for the contacts --will pursue those avenues when able. Will become much more serious about this project as I am retiring in July. Frankly I am almost at the point of sending the material and being available for discussion of the opening to some energetic person and merely wish to be mentioned as co author. Again --is labor of love not money. Once again thank you. Alex
