Simply type "ucilog" followed by a return. The GUI will write a file called "UCILOG.TXT" into one of its directories (search for the filename, especially in VISTA it is hard to find)!
With "UCI debug" you switch on the UCI-output to the engine window, but that is hard to read as it is sometimes very fast.
Type the same comand again and you switch off that particular mode.
