Second Opening Book ?

Post by Mark Mason »

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is a way in the Fritz GUI to have more than one opening book open and viewable at any one time when analysing games ? When going back over played engine games I often want to compare which move different books would have favoured, in a given position. This currently requires selecting the alternative book, checking the line, then re-selecting the original book afterwards which is cumbersome.

I seem to recall seeing something ages ago about being able to have 2 openings books in view side by side ?

Thanks,

Mark

Fritz can load only one book in the interface at the same time, but you can load and compare two or more CTG books (=trees) with the ChessBase database program, like the free CB. Light 2007.
