Back in November, I bought a copy of Play Chess With Deep Fritz 8.0 Grandmaster Edition, published by Viva Media. I love the program, and all its essential features work great, but the CD didn't come with the speech files that were supposed to be included, nor was there a rule book with a serial number in the packaging, so I can neither register the software nor use it to register on playchess.com -- not that I can connect to playchess.com anyway, even though I did what the support files told me to do with my firewall settings. I sent a request for help to Viva Media's customer support e-mail address (no phone number is given anywhere on the company's website). That was more than a month ago, and I haven't heard a peep.
Can anyone give me the straight dope?
