I am having a weird problem with Homer 2.0. I noticed the problem today, I was trying to integrate Pupsi in to my rating list, and on the second game against homer, an anouncement popped up on the screen. It says "please use a legal copy of Homer". As far as I know Homer is a free engine and I downloaded it from Daniel's homepage when it was first released. Does it have some kind of ticking time bomb feature? Is there a way to fix it? I could replace it with Homer 2.01 instead, but I really want to use another option if possible.
Thanks in advance
Tony

well, it seems you don't installed Homer on your computer so far. Please install Homer via the setup program and everything will be fine.
Best,

Re: Homer problem
I installed it about a year ago when it was first released. It was playing games fine until Sunday night and the problems started Monday morning. Instead of waiting for your reply, I decided to start playing with Homer 2.01 instead. I always thought that Homer underperformed under my conditions due to bad luck, I hope that my belief turns out right. Homer is using Ryba 2.abk for book by the way. Last time it used littlebook.abk.Daniel Mehrmann wrote:Hi Tony,Tony Thomas wrote:I am having a weird problem with Homer 2.0. Well, something must happend with your system, otherwhise Homer wouldn't says it looks like a illegal copy. Maybe you changed to much hardware, or you played with some cleanup tools or you just did a restore of your windows system or you just copyed them without a installation (bad Tony). Homer never lies, so...
There is no time limitation used by Homer.
Best,
Daniel
