CCT10: 3 days away!! Information

Hello all,

CCT10 is 3 days away and I am trying to get the website caught up.

If your program name/ICC Handle is not listed properly, your team members need to be adjusted, or finalize your hardware, please email me immediately.

Now just some information.

When you arrive on game day, please set the following two variables on the ICC server. These will ensure your program's kibitzing will be seen by others:

set allowkib 1
set kib 1

Also set your formula to only play CCT games:

set formula unrated & time=50 & inc=10

Make sure your program is open to accept matches:

set open 1

Oh! And if your computer refuses to shake hands with it's opponent, it will result in a loss. (Just kidding, but damn funny FIDE rule)

Please be on time, respectful of your opponents and people observing on your games.

Due to problems in previous years with decisions made by myself during the event, the rules will be strictly enforced, and once a decision is made, it is final. Everyone will be treated equally under the rules put forth. There will be no exceptions.

Have fun and see you bright and early Saturday morning! (Or Friday night, Saturday afternoon... or what ever time you have locally when I wake up.)

Sorry, yes it is 50+3.

So the command is:

set formula unrated & time=50 & inc=3

No one gets the feeling they would like to boycot (not buy) those one or two top comercial engines who insist on not participating?

On the one hand, it might seem a bit cruel that we pressure them to participate and come out some way down from the top.

On the other hand, are we supposed to think that if they HAD participated, it might well have come first, therefore we should buy it because it might be the strongest?
