Yes, it is exiting! Rybka has 4.5/6. Last round: Naum-Hiarcs and Rybka-Fruit.

Sad that Naum lost due to being late only, without a game in round one. In rds. 2-6, Naum scored 4.5/5.

Congrats to Hiarcs .

His win vs Rybka was very strong ... and after winning Padeborn Tournament , It confirm that it is at least Rybka Level

I Will defintitely consider to buy it when it will be out ...

No lead time ?? I heard about ... was not ready for Xmas but will be out around FEBRUARY :D

Sad that Naum lost 1 pts by not show up :( ( don t know what exactly happen like the 2 engine got 0 pts in round 1 )

Anyway it still fighting for the 1st Place :D

After winning versus Fruit and draw Zappa

I think 7 round is too short ...

maybe 2 or 3 round more would be not bad , exemple Naum will finish his tournament and didn t play against others super strong engine like Rybka, Glaurung , junior ...

I think the main event in this tournament is Hiarcs victory over Rybka in round 6 ...

Perhaps new Hiarcs is at newest Rybka's level, but not because it won Paderborn and not because it won today.
These tournaments can not be used to measure strength and should not be used to compare strength between engines.

So to say "it confirms that it's at Rybka's level" is incorrect....

Then let s say Hiarcs was " very lucky " at Padeborn and CCCT :D

right needs games and thousands games between engine vs engine to know really for sure ...

However if Hiarcs won vs Rybka in round 6 is due to many Factors for sure ...

Hiars improved a lot + good book + good team team

like Rybka = a super chess engine over 3000 elo + a good book + professional super good team

and to beat the Rybka super strong team only a super strong chess engine + a good team could do it ...

I think it was a little lucky in both, yes, but I've seen it have bad luck in prior tournaments, so it deserves things to go it's way this time. But there is no doubt, Hiarcs has made huge strides, and in such tournaments it is no longer a case of an almost guaranteed win for Rybka. I guess we need to wait for the official releases of both to see what the strength differences are over hundreds of games. Mark Uniacke has done an incredible job, there is no doubt about that. Congratulations to him.

Hiarcs's position looks quit losing against Naum, Naum was giving + 6 scores...

so it is gonna be a tie between Rybka and Naum...

also Glaurung and Zappa's game seems drawn...

What happens if Naum and Rybka have the same number of points?
I'm afraid that the game Naum didn't take any points because it didn't play may become very critical....

Sad that Naum lost 1 points ... in round 1 by not playing ...
Sad That Naum after 7 rounds didn t play against Rybka !!!

Anyway Naum already won in the heart of chess engine fan :D

That s why maybe with 30 chess engines it would be better to play 9 or 10 rounds ...

I know this is very difficult to do ... in only 2 days ...
