What free MP engines have a play style opposite to Toga

with Toga 11 3.12SE MP used for analysis only .

Are there any free MP engines available that have a style opposite to Toga 11.
This engine would be used for analysis only in combination with Toga 11.

I think you don´t get any advantage of your two AMD Athlon 64 using Windows XP home 32 bit.

32 bits OS cannot use 64 bits softwares.
And only 64 bits softwares match with AMD Athlon 64.

Hello. Believe me I am not an expert in the field of computers and O/S. But I think the 32 bit system does profit from the dual core.
I made this test.
AMD Athlon 2800+ single core 2.08 GHz with Fritz 9. Win xp home 32bit
Fritz Mark: Rel. Speed : 2.06. K nodes/sec : 990

AMD Athlon 64 x2Dual core 4600+ 2.4GHz with Fritz 9 Win xp home 32 bit
Fritz Mark : Rel.Speed : 5.64. K nodes/sec : 2706
F9 is faster.

I don't dispute that a 64 bit system should increase performance.
I did not buy a windows 64bit O/S because I was not sure if F9 and other software would operate correctly.

No, you didn't make any mistakes with regard to Toga. It's true that you can't take advantage of 64 bit software, but Toga isn't bitboard(at least not yet, to my knowledge, though it might be in the works), so Toga wouldn't be able to take advantage of 64 bit anyways. It can still take advantage of 2 cores just fine. Whether Fritz 9 would work in a 64 bit is a crapshoot, 32 bit applications can work on 64 bit, but there might be all kinds of bugs.

Agreed, XP Home edition even fully supports a quad core CPU.
