Many thanks, looks quite good!

Just a positive critic  , I think that the boards should be a little bit bigger. And one is cut (pages 15-16)

Thank you for the free magazine, Roman. Since it's free, then it looks interesting. However, there is one enormous flaw, and that is the terrible English writing.

The magazine is written in English (this is probably your intended market) but the written content in the magazine is absolutely terrible. Besides the awful grammar, some sentences and phrases make no sense.

So, you may eventually alienate your English speaking market, in spite of what initially seems to be thoughtful game annotations, with the poor English writing.

So, while the magazine remains free, some will continue to read it. But I presume your intent is to either go commercial (i.e. subscriptions) or to get commercial support (e.g. advertising). If so, then getting somebody who can write well in English, as an editor, is absolutely mandatory.

Good luck to you and your team, Roman!

All the best,
Steve

Hello Steve and thanks for your feedback! Yes English isn't native language not for me nor for our commentators and it's hard to remove all bags from text for us.

Unfortunately our money resources are limited (the magazine will not be paid) and it's hard to hire outside English-native editor :(

But maybe we could find volunteers?

May I ask you to point out is it entire content written terribly or some parts have mass errors and the rest is better? If you could name the exact pages this will be perfect.

Thanks again for your comments we will try to make it better anyway :)

P.S. BTW we are open for volunteer's contributions! If anyone have some interesting stuff (articles, games, fun chess related stories) do not hesitate to drop me a line via PM or email chesszone [at] ya.ru

We need translators from Russian to English or just native English (or someone with well English skills) corrector to check the text and fix major bugs :)

Anyway thanks for your help offer, Ovyron!
