What is the difference between Rybka 2.3 UCI and Rybka 2.3.2a? Is it the same engine?

I think version 2.3 was the first 2.x which was sold on CD. Later, new CDs with 2.3.2a have been produced. I have one of these which has an additional badge "2.3.2a World Champion version". But the advertisement material, box graphics etc. remained showing 2.3 as version number. IOW they updated the program and CD, but not the other media.

All 2.x customers can get 2.3.2a as an update if that don't have it yet, for download. Also, you can get the WinFinder 2.2 engine the same way. Just email chessok.com (Convekta) if you purchased the CD version.

But there is no update offer from 2.x to 3.0 (at least not currently, but I think it is NOT planned. AFAIK there also was none from 1.x to 2.x) It is believed that 3.0 will be released in a few month.
