That one, I have already ! :?

But unfortunately, despite my efforts with different .rc, it does not work under Shredder and CB GUI. , and in the best case, he plays max. one game, then it dumps !

It's a pity, because until now the Craftys worked well !

I suppose this "smpnice" history has all disrupted.

Robert Hyatt, which was the person who mentioned
it is already out. version 22.0
was actually the author of Crafty. He already released two sourcecodes, so that Windows users can avail of its usage. Jim Ablett and I compiled and uploaded links for the builds here. Just follow thw Crafty 22 threads.

Crafty was designed for Xboard/Winboard (if you know the author well). For other GUIs from Chessbase and ShredderChess, follow this thread:

http://64.68.157.89/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19749

The infos there will try to make use of Crafty well with your mentioned GUI/s. As I said earlier on another thread, Bob already done his part and we thank him for that, so it's our turn to find ways to make it work for us as well.

No, but you do need the most recent 22.0, not the first one released. The new one has shown zero problems with SMP nice in testing both on windows and linux...

Thanks for the information, but what is latest version, and where can I download it? On your site, or elsewhere?

Which .exe do you recommend ?

Latest version is currently 22.0, available at ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt/sources

executables are up to you, I don't keep them because there are too many different platforms to deal with, with too many different operating systems, hardware options, etc...
