Crafty 22.0 in Shredder interface and Arena frustration

I have followed the discussion here about this but cannot get it to work properly and consistently.

In Shredder, it will often hang during analysis, playing engine matches or analysing positions.

In Arena 1.99beta5 it sometimes works. However it won't analyse a set of epd positions since it doesn't recognise that the position has changed.

I've tried all the different versions of setups posted but none work.

Has *anyone* managed to get it to work properly and consistently in these interfaces?

Crafty 22.0 JA /wb works fine in Arena 1.1 on my computer.-Gerold.

In my computer too Crafty 22.0 has no problem under Arena.
