Using a time control of 40 moves in 62 minutes under the Shredder GUI, Amundsen uses approximately 40secs-60 secs per move.
Has anybody else found a similar time management issue with this engine?
Does it perform similarly under Arena as a WB engine?

I dont use your time controls, but it performs rather OK under 1m+1sec. It does have less than perfect time management though. If it did used the time little bit more efficiently, it could play much better.

Yes Graham, almost the exact seconds that you mentioned are also demonstrated when using it as a winboard engine under Arena
It looks like it's time management is broken....

Thanks Wael. Not a problem at my end then which is reassuring.Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:Yes Graham, almost the exact seconds that you mentioned iare also demonstrated when using it as a winboard engine under Arena
Just as a matter of interest, have you managed to get OliThink 5.0.9 working correctly?
