You need:

To test a PDA, menus and applications, download and install:

If you want to install thousands of programs available to the PDA, you need to do it through the computer (although you have a PDA original), for this download and install:

- ActiveSync

Now open the "Device Emulator Manager, in the menu Actions choose "Cradle" once they started you look for a Pocket PC application that is called ActiveSync and connect by DMA (this surely will only), in this way the Pocket PC Emulator and ActiveSync desktop will be connected.

Now you can download programs for PPC in the PC and if they are executables simply run on the PC to do the installation, if they are cab files copy with the option Explorer to the temp folder of the Pocket PC and Double-clicking there.

Already it is not the same as a PDA but the emulation is very good on my computer, an AMD X2 4600 + I have the same speed as a PDA at 300 MHz.
