Hi Andranik,

This looks indeed as quite difficult for engines right now. In my opinion, one of the best kept secret among engine strentgh for endings is about Chess Tiger. Forget about the name, its Tiger for endings! Here are the results I get (from Chess Tiger 2007 - normal style) on an (obselete for this forum...) pentium 4 2.4ghz..:

I have the "endgame turbo 3" by Chessbase (or in fact the equivalent) enabled (all3-4mens, plus some 5mens - my EGTB is 700M). Who says better?

PS: The only (severe in fact), shortcoming about Chess Tiger 2007's endgames abilities are its lack of perpetual check recognition... luckily here no perpetual are in sight, but it often appear in endgames...

Yeah, that's great it finds it, although 47 minutes on a quad is a bit too much to evaluate a pawn ending :)

Here Kasparov plays 38.Re5!!, and after exchange the pawn ending is won for white. If black does not exchange-white checks on 7-th rank and wins effortlessly as well.

Note guys that Kasparov had planned all this well before, but if I rewind 4-5 moves back I think it would be too unfair to the engines ;)
Would you mind posting the entire game? Very nice ending by Kasparov.
