23...Nxe4 is a spectacular, interesting move... but it's quality seems difficult to prove. Maybe it is just risky and speculative, and White's play later in the game can be improved?

I would be surprised if another engine would chose this, with default settings. Maybe Junior.

What is "Pawn+", a Chessmaster/King personality?

Unfortunately i think 23...Nxe4 is not good. Since 25.Qc2? is bad while after 25.Qb1 white stands better.

You have to admit, though, that Nxe4 is a much more enjoyable move. The two quiet moves might be stronger, but I think the shock value of Nxe4 OTB might be better against a human.
