Pouet Chess 0.20

Post by fern »

I recommend it. Free, with its own GUI. Strong and well done. It seems it is based in a well known and strong -since lot of time ago- free engine.
I played it carelessly believing it was easy prey and he beated me merciless. Good tactics.
Need, of course, lot more test than the paltry one I did.

What time control do you like to play against engines, Fernando?
I have no patience to play more than 5 0 min.

Usually I play 40 moves in 60 minutes or blitz at 25 minutes all the game.
In this case of Pouet, I do not know because levels are only nominally defined: "easy, hard, very hard, etc."
I used hard that fist time when I was caught due to excessive careless attitude.

my best
