I used to be able to just highlight with the mouse the analysis output and then paste it into a text editor. With the current (most recent) version of SCID, when I attempt to do this, it clears the analysis output and puts up a message "Click here to see moves".
This is not terribly useful (at least not to me).
Can someone tell me how to load the copy buffer with the PVs that are placed in the analysis window?
Thanks,
Roy

Re: SCID on Linux question: how to copy analysis output?
Good catch. This seems like an unintended bug. There is a scid users forum for the new scid. To subscribe go to https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
Typically Pascal is pretty responsive and can patch this fast if you post the problem there.

ChessDB, which is based on Scid, has the same problem. It works intermittently, but it's usually not possible to copy the analysis into the buffer. This seems to be a bug that should be relatively easy to fix.
