Programmers representative (ICGA)

Post by Rémi Coulom »

Hi,

I thought I should let you know that I have accepted to serve as programmers representative on the board of the ICGA. That position had been vacant for a while, and the ICGA offered me to be an interim representative until the election of the new board (which will take place in Beijing). I also plan to be a candidate at the upcoming election.

So I am your representative, and any question or suggestion is welcome.

Hi Rémi,

congratulations! It was already mentioned on the ICGA site, I visited quite often recently - to wrote some stuff in the chess programming wiki. I was not really aware it was vacant, and already wondered where I missed your election ;-)

Thanks (again?) for your great work on the ICGA-Tournament Database. Just great!

Cheers,
Gerd

Hi Gerd,

Thanks for your kind words.

In fact, I wrote this message to the forum after noticing my page on the CPW. I thought I should announce that I am a candidate.
