No more ChessBase versions of Junior?

Post by Steve Maughan »

I was somewhat surprised when I received the email from ICC about the Illescas v Junior match. At the end it says:
"ICC now has the exclusive rights to new versions of Junior (both the multiprocessor Deep Junior 11, and single processor Junior 11), and soon after the match it will be commercially available here from the ICC."
Does this mean, as stated, that there will not be a ChessBase version? This is significant in that I have always regarded Junior as the second most important engine for ChessBase (after Fritz).

Cheers,
