hi folks,
is there a way to estimate ELO for engines based on a computer game database, and then insert the estimated ELOs into each PGN.
This would allow me to calculate the average performance of a certain opening (e.g., from chessbase opening report), and unconfound the strength of the engine with the strength of the opening
help?
best

Use Bayes ELO then use embayes from Norm Pollock's 40H utilitiesozziejoe wrote:hi folks,
