Kind of a survey without the maths hassle...

How much are you prepared to pay- as a maximum- for Rybka-Aquarium?
Perhaps 60 bucks?
80?
100?
120?

In my case, I am prepared to pay $9,99 :-)

Anything less than 30 $ and I will consider buying it only if the GUI is better than atleast Arena. I will wait for reviews.

I already spent enough on chessbase products, chessmaster and ICC membership.

One c-note sounds about right to me for the strongest chess
program. That is if the gui is user friendly. :)

Best to you,

Gerold.

Fernando, some time ago people wrote in CCC that they had to value chess programmers developers.
Why? Because the programmers could focus more on development of software and then we would have
better programs. I still agree that is the best way to have a good software is paying more for it.
To the best program in the world I would pay U$ 200.

Something if there were a Linux version. No - wine doesn't really help.

If I had to take a pick, with Naum single thread being only around 30 bucks for upgraders, I am willing to pay 60 for single core Rybka and about 90 for MP if I get a quad.
