"I want you to check me as hard as you can..."

YouTube has become a fantastic source for all that is video, and short (mostly). Chess events of all sizes, now regularly post videos and reports on YouTube. For example, the recently completed US Championship had daily reports on it.

On a different level, I ran across a hilarious and very well done chess spoof (satire) of a famous scene from the film, Fight Club.

For those who don't know the film, it is a cult film with strong social criticism on today's society, with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. One scene famously starts with Brad Pitt telling Edward Norton, "I want you to hit me as hard as you can". Another scene has Brad Pitt presenting the film's most famous lines, "The first rule of Fight Club, is you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule is you do NOT talk about Fight Club!"

Well, someone put up a very well-done spoof of this called.... Chess Club! And sure enough, it starts by saying, "I want you to check me as hard as you can." See the video.
