Rybka preferes promotion over mate :-)

Strange ... what hardware is that? On my Quad, Knight promotion is fourth choice right away and b4 is seen as best and Bb4 second best with both scoring big or greater than +20. Maybe Rybka also has a sadistic factor?

OK I see ... I have multi pv on ... on single pv it does like the Knight promotion. Rybka Winfinder finds the mate quite quickly though, I guess normal Rybka has some code which looks differently for a win ... for eg. putting more pressure on the pawn being protected by the Knight. Although this is not best here, I guess overall it is a much better setting for overall play in general. Promoting to a Knight still wins easily.
