Request for working compiles of Fruit 2.3.1 under E2180

Post by GenoM »

Hi
Some months ago I bought PC with E2180 processor. The trouble is that compiles of Fruit 2.3 and subsequent versions of it from Superchessengine.com didn't work on my PC.
Can someone make compiles that will work without problems on my PC?
Thanks,
Geno

Problem: versions 2.3 of Fruit and below do not include source code.

Interesting case. How the closed source Fruit is complying with GPL of the Fruit 2.1? Some experts please give us opinion: can an GPL-licensed open-source engine became a closed source?
Just curious.
And still no working compiles for my poor E2180 :-(

Yes, whoever owns the copyright to the original code can relicense it however they like, as long as they use someone else's code.
