Good News!!!

Post by AdminX »

We will finally start to see the development of better GUI's, chess annotation, and other features since Rybka III is not leaving much room to compete any time soon in the area of chess strength. The competition will have to find better ways to improve their programs. Good thing for them a chess engine alone does not make for a good chess program. Good thing for us too.

Glad to see I am not alone in my old time request of better, funnier, more useful, pretty, etc GUIS.
Sincerely I cannot a difference between 2700 and 3100 elo engine.
SGM's can, but I am not one of them.

My best

I agree, Ted. The other engines won't sell on strength alone, so the emphasis will have to be on things like the GUI and style for new customers.
