What will this do on x64 + Rkbka 3??

Did this search and found this for under £60, but will it be any good for chess?
I know it is not the fastest then again I am not the stronest chess player!

Got a nice box and a semi decent graphics card, and 3 gig of memory. Then there will only be the MB....... plus x64 OS

I'm certainly no hardware expert but you can find the Fritz 9 benchmark here: http://www.jens.tauchclub-krems.at/dive ... marks.html

I think the entry concerning the cpu you mention is the following:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+  	2 x 2600  	5,98  	2872

Note that Fritz is 32-bits and may not benefit from the 64-bits speed up. So maybe the results will be even better for a 64-bits engine like Rybka 3. Hope this helps a bit to compare with your current cpu.
