Sissa, a serious competition for Numpty

Post by Tony Thomas »

The new engine called Sissa is going to be a serious competition for Numpty, the winner of Mr.Irrelevant tournament. It just keeps moving a piece back and forth until you mate it..Bada Bing, one victory for the human. I wonder what kind of anti-rybka algorithm the new engine is using..'

Pimping a new engine Regards

I understand Sissa is not on your
not-play-list. I have to include all
four versions in my to-be-tested-engines-list then.

Thanks, Tony.

Thanks Wael
Tony never mentioned that it was on that site. I have had a key to that location for years now, and now have a copy of Sissa.

Oh bill, I posted that link for you about 4 times already. That's the only chess site I visit everyday.

Best,
Why do you have to add all four versions? Why not just the latest, I dont see how testing an outdated version could be productive. Yes, it's a weak engine, and it doesnt lose games due to crashes, illegal moves or bad time management.

Would it beat Chad chess, Xadreco or weakest give-away chess engine?

I dont think it can beat either one of them. I have never played give-away chess (from my perspective), and I dont know of any give-away engines.
