Maybe I am looking at the prices the wrong way but I am seeing a significant price gap when comparing a Chessok website download of a stand alone Rybka 3 to the Rybka website purchase price.

I think that ChessOK receives a volume discount for download services since they sell so much stuff. Vas on the other hand probably sells about 1000 copies total.

Note that the Aquarium GUI can be had for only a $10 premium. That is extremely cheap. Hard to imagine anyone not getting it for that difference. Nice to have a feature-rich and very interesting new GUI out.

All jokes aside, I think you are right about ShareIt's processing fee. I think it put a dent in sales of Rybka III over on the RybkaChess website. I noticed that not many Rybka III's went online at Playchhess after the link went live. Lucky for me I won my copy of Deep Rybka III and Aquarium for free.

I was just plain "LUCKY". I was 1 of 13 Beta Testers for Aquarium that was selected for a free copy of Deep Rybka III plus Aquarium. Good thing too, because I was just about to press the pay button on the Monday when I recieved the news.
