Interview with Veselin Topalov (English)
Q1: Very few earthlings can defeat you. Perhaps only machines can?
A1: The computer programs are advancing more every day. They have evolved tremendously over the past 20 years. Their memory is limitless.
Q2: Will the computer checkmate humankind?
A2: The problem for man is time. In a game with unlimited time per move, man will still win.

Re: Interview with Veselin Topalov
I am not really sure of the point of Topalov's response?! Is he advising that humans can only beat chess computer's if they have limitless time? Does that not defeat the whole purpose of a chess match, which is always timed!?
Perhaps, Topalov's ego is so fragile he cannot simply state:
"Humans Can No Longer Beat Chess Computers!"

Re: Interview with Veselin Topalov
He's just stating the only possibility to humans of beating computers, the question wasn't personal.Sean Evans wrote:I am not really sure of the point of Topalov's response?!
