CEGT - rating lists September 07th 2008

Post by Werner »

Hi all :-),
our updated rating lists are now online and can be found under the attached links.

40 / 120:
No update today and surely not until a few weeks as we make some special tests with own books and games with quad-versions. New results - commented by Heinz - with Rybka 3 X64 4CPU (also human-version) 40/120 repeated or matches with own book you can see in our forum: http://cegt.foren-city.de/forum,2,05f69 ... 0-120.html
.
40 / 20:
This week we added more than 1300 games to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 271.782 games!

Main test-objects this week were Cyrano, Thinker and Rybka in different variants. See more in our list "games of the week".

New engines:
We managed to make 410 games with the new Cyrano 0.6 b17. Harald Johnsen did a great job and could improve his engine with 110 elos.
Another new entry is the 1CPU-version of (Passive) Thinker 5.2I x64. After 200 games we have a rating of 2805 - surprisingly higher than the 2CPU-version. Next week we can see what happens with more games and a corrected database as we have the same engine in the list with different names at the moment.
We also started to make games with some x64 engines 1CPU e.g.
Rybka 2.3.2a
Naum 3.1
Fruit 2.4 Beta A
Zappa Mexico II
Deep Sjeng 3.0
Deep Shredder 11
Glaurung 2.1

Updated engines:
mainly the new Rybka versions:
1 Rybka 3 x64 4CPU 3179 24 24 538 games (-1)
2 Rybka 3 x64 2CPU 3153 14 14 1928 games (-7)
4 Rybka 3 x64 1CPU 3115 32 32 392 games (-10)
6 Rybka 3 w32 1CPU 3053 18 18 954 games (+5)

The difference between 4 and 2CPU version is now 26.

40 / 4:
We will make our next update in one week. See the results of the current matches as usual in our forum: http://cegt.foren-city.de/forum,4,-cegt ... ation.html

A big „Thank you“ to all testers as usual! :)

Hi Ernest,
I know 2 people who got that engine together with an official Chessbase update.
But CB says: there was never a version 11.1 :)
