Last days to register for Pan Am Computer Chess Champs

Post by CRoberson »

The last days to register are here. I may (not guaranteeed) allow
entrants on the morning of the event. This type of event takes a
bit more effort even that morning. So, last minute entrant requests
will be at the mercy of how smoothly all the setup goes at UAB.

Allowing last minute entrants might be not such a good idea if said entrants have not publicly shown glitch-free ICS operation including kibitzing.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I haven't completed all I wanted
by tonight, but Telepath is far stronger that it was at last years
Pan American event.

I do expect it to finish much better than last year.

Regards,
Charles

While I think the LearningLemming has improved, I expect to finish worse than last year :(. The curse of over achieving.

But, last year Romi did not lose or even draw a single game. It will be hard to do better than that!

Hi Charles,

Slowchess has played enough standard games, the ratings I think is no longer provisional. It's rating right now is 2503.

Finding opponents at ICC is difficult, but I managed to get past the provisional limit.
