40 / 120:
Heinz has updated the download for the quad-list. Rybka 3 has now made 633 games and gained another 15 elo. The difference to the previous version is now around 80 pionts. All games with Rybka are made in real time 40/120 - not adapted to our benchmark. After his holiday he hopes to have even more games.
40 / 20:
This week we added 1335 games to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 287.296 games!
New engines:
Main test object this week was the new Deep Fritz 11 engine which arrived on Thursday. I tested it on 2CPU.
The new Deep Fritz 11 2CPU has a rating of 3000 after 150 games which is +113 to our Deep Fritz 10 version 2CPU. Of course this rating is very uncertain - it has not enough games. So in the next weeks we will make more games with it and the 4CPU version too.
With 2CPU the Shredder WM Edition Bonn reached 2971 elo which is 29 points ahead of the 64bit Shredder 11 version.
Another good start rating we got for Thinker 5.3B 2CPU passive: 2875 after 200 games. This is a plus of 58 elos. So it looks like Lance haa improved SMP very much.
Cyclone 2.0 1CPU was very unbalanced. The engine scored very good against Rybka but too very bad against other engines. After 400 games we have a rating which is exactly the same as Toga II 1.4 beta5c 1CPU.
Only 80 games has the new BugChess2v.1.6.3. But it looks too as an improvement.
