That comment is entirely out of place. You have been warned.

Congratulations to all. It is nice to see that I voted for three winners.

Congrats steve for winning with an overwhelming majority. For the first time, 2/3 people that I supported won. Zach also deserved his victory. I would still like to congratulate Ulysses for earning one extra vote than a certain mod from last term.

Hi Steve,

I propose an immediate ban for any member who does not own at least 1 dedicated chess computer.

Congratulations old buddy.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely regards

Yeah,

Congratulations Steve and welcome on board (again).

Speaking of being banned without a dedicated chess computer, i found my old Chess Challenger Mach III in a box when clearing and moving stuff. It seems to work technically and now sits proudly next to my Mephisto Milano. But...the manual is gone and i have forgotten how to operate it.

Any clue how to get access to a, maybe scanned, version of the manual?
If not, i will soon spam every forum i know about it!

Best regards,

Kaj

Thanks Kaj

I assume you need the Excel Mach III and not the Designer Mach III

here is a German copy of the Excel Mach III:
http://alain.zanchetta.free.fr/docs/ExcelMachIIIDE.pdf

but the manuals for all of the Fidelity Excel Mach computers are really the same because there are no differences between the Excel Mach I-Mach IV in terms of operation and features although the hardware and engine software is different
so here is an English manual for the Mach I:

http://alain.zanchetta.free.fr/docs/Excel68000US.pdf

if you have the Designer Mach III:
http://alain.zanchetta.free.fr/docs/Fid ... hIIIUS.pdf

Congrats! Steve.
I will never forget that joke your friend made (I think), which ended up something like your wife wondering if it was a long awaited compliment that you needed space for your "star damond".
