Cyclone 2.2: some observations

Post by Jouni »

Cyclone seems to be more selective than Toga versions and it gets bigger
search depths. This has one consequence: in almost all testsuites I have tried it's quite slow, in fact the slowest engine I have currently... But in actual play it beats all engines except Rybka3! Again remainder how difficult it's make test suite with any real value at all.

That's why I don't like them too,I do believe that they are good only for checking if a new version of a particular engine is not broken compared to the previous one....
