Time to give GCP a hand

Post by Dann Corbit »

Deep Sjeng has {possibly} passed Shredder in strength on 4 CPUs at 40/40:
http://www.computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/4040/

Currently ranked 4th overall behind Rybka, Naum, and Zappa:

Code: Select all

1 Rybka 3 64-bit 4CPU 3220
2 Naum 3.1 64-bit 4CPU 3075
3 Zappa Mexico II 64-bit 4CPU 3071
4 Deep Sjeng WC2008 64-bit 4CPU 3035
A few years ago, Shredder was the unassailable wall, so I think this is a remarkable accomplishment.

What hardware were you using for that result? That answer came pretty quick. Octal or Quad maybe?

Post by kgburcham »

This thing is so slow, such a pancy----all I have to do is just whisper SkullTrail and mine instantly goes to the blue screen of death.
