Glad to see he is coming out with a SMP version. Do you think it will be released on Lokasoft?

I am surprised that Tiger has not been made SMP yet. Maybe that will be an update coming with the new Chesspartner GUI

Christophe said he had stopped working on ChessTiger, and he is not planning to improve the engine any further.

As far as I know Ktulu not yet SMP yet. I just happen to own Quad phenom comp. Would be nice if it support Multi processor but it still cool program

I see. Well good luck to the Paidar as he will be an underdog then!

One chess wish I have is that before and chess programmer retires, he at least makes his program SMP. At least it will give his program more staying power.

I would like to see ChessTiger, ProDeo, Anaconda, of course Ktulu
among others be upgraded to SMP, even if they never change the current engine. Just because it is not as "strong" does not mean it does not add some "flavor" to the chess world.

I agree with you, Ktulu will be underdog and I wouldn't be surprise it make an upset for the top programs in CCT11! tweaking on the opening book I created for Glaurung and Ktulu last year and I expect good games 8-) (same goes with Glaurung!)

One chess wish I have is that before a chess programmer retires, he makes his program free. :)

True, but some are not as generous in spirit as others.
Sometimes there are good reasons for them not to do this which is fair enough.
