It should be competitive and fun to see both Fritz and Shredder take a part in CCT11 Last time I saw both was in CCT4

I just wonder does the author of those two programs completely refuse to join or have no testers/operaters to help out join.

Wouldn't it be cool to see Rybka, Hiarcs, Fruit, Junior, Shredder, Loop list, Zappa, Thinker, Glaurung, Ktulu, Bright, Fritz, Naum all in CCT11. Such field like this would be competitive and in 9 rounds shall be cool What does everyone think?

Ofcourse, It would be competitive. I'm going to be the Bright's operator, Allard gave me the approval.

Out of all those engines you've mentioned, I think Rybka, Hiarcs, Thinker and Naum are bound to join just before the deadline. And there's now stronger TwistedLogic, Scorpio etc

If anybody could talk to the author of other commercial or stronger freeware programs, and get their approval, ask authors to send out the registration, they are welcome.

Yes, I encourage folks to try to get in touch with both Shredder and Fritz authors to ask for permission to try to join CCT11 Unless Authors plan to join themselves that is what it is recommended anyway.

An example to this. I decided last yr to ask Tord Romstad for permission to join with his program and certainly he didn't mind and here again I was given another chance to play this year too. Glaurung really never made appearance in previous CCT and same goes to Ktulu.

Thank you for volunteering to operate Bright Swaminathan. How about you try to get permission from authors to operate Spike 1.3 :D

Spike 1.3 is a private engine available only to testers determined to submit thousands of games. I doubt If I would get the version even as an operator. I think that's the version of Spike that comes with MP.
