A little mistake will cost you the win....

Post by Dr.Wael Deeb »

Hi,
first of all, happy new year to all members of the CCC forum :D
In the early hours of the 2009 year I felt that I can wipe with the floor a chess engine,so I played Scidlet 3.61 in one of my running tournaments....
I almost had it grounded, but one move blew it up :?
See for yourselves....

Thanks Steve :D
Playing the chess engines for more than 6 years now did pay for my chess playing strength....and belive me it helps you knock down the human opponents with confident,I am talking about the amateurs of course....
BTW,I play with thinking lines switched off,no take backs, etc.,,on a standard tournament board as if the opponent is a human setting in front of me....now that gives me a great pleasure :D
Happy new year buddy :) ,

I still don't forget many years ago, one of my first chess books written by Raymond Keene had a game where a "strong county player" almost beat the legendary predesescor of the legendary Deep Blue.
This player, was no less of a living legend than Wael Deeb!

Hi all,
This time Scidlet was outplayed by one of my beloved openings:
Ruy Lopez,Exchange Variation,5.O-O
I've played over 200 games with this opening line at long time control and my trick
is to lead the chess engine to a losing endgame in which it's clueless regarding the position....
Take a look please....

P.S.In my rating list Scidlet is rated over 200 Elo above me but that didn't stop me from kicking it's butt
