CCT 11: Change in TD

Post by Peter Skinner »

As of this morning, Swami and I have agreed that I should take over as TD of the CCT event.

Due to politics on the CCC and the CTF, Swami feels that the event would be better handled by someone who is not a moderator on these forums.

As I understand and respect his decision, I will honor his request to take the event forward.

All specifications of the event will stay the same, but the website will revert back to my CCT domain:

http://www.cctchess.com

Thank you for your understanding in this matter, but those involved believe the CCT event is too important to this community to let politics interfere.

I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

Hi Peter,

Excellent! I'm glad to know that you're back! Yes, I have handed over the organizational control to you. I'm glad to give it to someone who is well known in CCT circles for so long!

You can add the participants from this page to your own page.

Best of Luck to you,

Swami,

Not happy that you gave up this job.
You was doing a good job and should have competed the job.

Very best to you,

Gerold.

Thanks, Gerold. I don't want the Moderation politics interfering the CCT tournament where the participation matters. I told Peter Skinner right away that I would be ecstatic to give the control back to him and that he would actually be the better organizer since he had been the Td in the previous CCT's and is independent, and he understood. I was delighted to find that he actually accepted getting the control back. .
