Thanks Vladimir for providing the links. Yar already posted that Mikhail Donskoy passed away.
Both Theo van der Storm and Mikhail Donskoy died on January 13, 2009. May they rest in piece.

A sad passing. Donskoy did some truly original work and his program Kaissa was the world champion for several years. I remember those early days of punch cards, magnetic tape, and hard-to-get computer time and all that makes his accomplishments even more impressive.
