11TH AMATEUR SERIES (Division 3)

AMD64x2 Dual Core

3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
HS-Large Remis book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 38 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
All engines 32-bit 1CPU
Updated versions will only be introduced before the completion of the first cycle.
The winner will gain automatic promotion into Division 2 for the following series. The second placed engine will play a ten game match against the second bottom engine from Division 2 with the winner possibly playing in Division 1 in the following series. The bottom engine will be automatically relegated into Division 4 for the following series. The second bottom engine will play a ten game match against the second top engine from Division 4 with the winner possibly playing in Division 2 for the following series.

Engine Tornado used to be in Division 7 or 8 in my tournaments, I see that it's now playing well in the league of what would have been Division 2 or 3 if it were in my tourney.

So, Tornado must have improved a lot in the meantime. Definitely an engine to watch out for at CCT.
