Compo Chess 2.5 and ChessX 0.5

Hello together,

on http://www.softpedia.com you find both databases.
It seems that playing against a WinBoard (UCI with ChessX, too) is
not possible ; sole exception is MiniMax with Compo Chess.
But you can use chess engines to analyze a game.
What are your opinions about Compo Chess and ChessX?
