Thanks to all. I have now a more clear idea about this issue. And I see now that you can be a competent programmer as Merlino surely is and not get a 2500 program just like that.
Nevertheless, the central point is this: no matter if it is trough some cloning, replication, many hours of work, etc, it could be said that in a way or another a level around 2500 is the standard these days. With that I mean an AVERAGE, so it involves that many are below that.
In no many years ago the standard was about 2000, even if a genius a Lang or our Hyatt here was on it. The tricks, as I called them, are available, theoretically at least, at hand even if many programmers are not prepared to use them or have not time to implement them, etc.
In fact this is not more than to say that the chess programming as a science has advanced a lot and what was an eminence yestarday, today is reachable and standard.
Sorry for any imputation I could have made without realizing it.
