Deeb's Computer Chess Workshop soon will lunch it's own web page with rating list, matches, etc.
Today I recieved my new Intel Q9650 with 4 Mb DDR2 Ram and I installed Windows XP Professional Edition x64
There is just a little problem however:
The CCC forum doesn't remember my user name and password, everytime I had to log in manualy, any hints what could be the problem
Thanks in advance,
Dr.D

IIRC it has to do with which exact page you bookmarked the entry to CCC.
Mine is: http://www.talkchess.com/forum/index.php(plus specific ID for the account).
Try to login with the default link as given above and set it to always
login with your account.
Of course it can also be that you have the option activated to delete cookies
each time you close your browser.

I assume you mean 4 GB, not 4 MB. It's been a long time since Microsoft made anything that could run in 4 MB.
But it would be possible to install certain Linux distributions in 4 MB.
Back in 1987, I bought 4 MB of RAM for my Macintosh Plus for US$1,400. It took quite a while for me to fill it up with something useful.
Have you considered using Linux instead of XP?
Yes....
No,I have no idea how to install....

Thanks Guenther,I'll try your method today....
It's definitely not a deleted cookies issue as I don't have any problems in the other forums....
A strange thing also is when I want to mark all topics read,it doesn't respond....

Mabrook Wael! With regards to the forum not saving the password ... I had the same problem and still have the same problem sometimes. Somehow it seems to work eventually if you keep bugging it. Recentely I have been using Chrome and really like it. My IE crashes every once in a while which can be quite aggravating so I decided to switch browsers. Win XP 64bit is excellent and extremely stable with a tiny footprint. I don't think you need to go to Linux to get a decent browser experience, simply give Chrome or Firefox a try. Once you have them configured properly you will never look back.
