Deep Fritz has been invited to the Mainz Chess960 Worl Title
Does anybody knows how strong is Deep Fritz in Chess960, and why has it been invited to participate in Chess960 World Championship without being truly tested?

Besides Deep Rybka the previous year Champion and Deep Shredder only Deep Fritz has been invited. I don't see Naum which is the 2nd strongest FRC program.Spock wrote:What other engines have been invited ?
Chess and computers are in the today's time so firmly with one another verwoben, which a chess promotion association must engage itself like the Chess of tiger compellingly also on this sector. Already for the fifth time we organize from there the Livingston computer Chess960 world championship, to which we naturally invited previous year winner Vasik Raijlich with its Deep Rybka and his worst competitor Stefan Meyer bald one together with its Deep Shredder. In addition two Qualifikanten still which can be determined will push, in order to complete the doppelrundige Event together with large and small final around the title of the best Chess960-Engine. Gladly we would ask also Deep Fritz to the dance, but it is not clear still whether the firstborn child of the ChessBase family has the courage to place itself to younger brothers and sisters.

Well it would be good to see Fritz play, it is very strong at normal chess and no reason why it wouldn't be equally so at chess960. Since we haven't seen it play, it would be good. But, I think it is a 90% chance they will decline anyway
