Hello again;
Please can you help me this time with Flux II whcih asks for Javaruntime Environment 1.5.0 to be installed
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Is it simply a question of downloading it from this website?
Again, what effect does it have on the PC, does it just kick-in when Flux II runs?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, download from there.
Not only (some) chess engines need it.
Matthias.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

Hi Darren,
If you are a Windows user you could download the Win32 optimized executable of Flux 2.2 I compiled a while ago.
It doesn't need Java to be installed and should also run a lot faster.
